Next week, Russians will have to work for six days ahead of the holidays. This was announced on October 21 by Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"The last week of October will be a six-day working week. We will be working from October 27 (Monday) to November 1 (Saturday)," she said in an interview with TASS.

In addition, Bessarab added that after that, citizens will rest for three days. According to her, the appropriate schedule allows for the most optimal use of working and non-working days.
