There was a massive failure in the Pinterest application in the Russian Federation

Interruptions in the work of the popular Pinterest photo service were recorded in Russia during the day. It follows from the data of the Downdetector portal on October 20.

It is clarified that many users have reported problems accessing the application. Most of the complaints were received from St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Pskov regions, Moscow and the Republic of Karelia.

The reason for the failure is presumably due to technical work or a DDoS attack on the service's servers or the provider's infrastructure. Android (47.3%) and iOS (46%) owners had the most difficulties with access.
