In the city of Bataysk, Rostov region, 20 people were evacuated from an apartment building after an attack on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) building The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Air defense systems also destroyed Ukrainian drones over the Millerovsky and Tarasovsky districts. This was announced on October 21 by Yuri Slyusar.

"The air defense forces are currently repelling an enemy air attack throughout the Rostov region. <...> In Bataysk, the wall of a high—rise building on its upper floors has been partially destroyed in an apartment building along the Western Highway," the governor's Telegram channel says.

He clarified that there were no casualties during the attack by the drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The issue of housing the evacuated citizens is currently being resolved.

In addition, as Slyusar pointed out, the wreckage of drones collapsed in the courtyard of houses on Oktyabrskaya Street. The glazing in the buildings is damaged.
