Slovakia announced possible support for the 19th package of EU sanctions against Russia

Slovakia is ready to support the 19th package of EU sanctions against Russia, as the European Commission has taken into account the republic's comments on electricity prices and climate targets. This was announced on October 20 by the country's Foreign Minister, Juraj Blanard.

"We are in close contact with the European Commission, and I can state today that our proposals are more or less being accepted and included in the conclusions to be discussed at the fourth meeting of the European Council," Blanard said following a meeting of the EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.
