Onishchenko named the symptoms of salmonellosis

Gennady Onishchenko, an epidemiologist and former chief sanitary officer of the Russian Federation, said that several characteristic symptoms can cause suspicion of salmonellosis, as in victims of poisoning with ready-made food in Buryatia.

In conversation with aif.ru On Monday, October 20, Onishchenko noted that with a sharp increase in temperature, intoxication, weakness, diarrhea and vomiting after eating ready-made food, it is necessary to call an ambulance, since only a doctor can make a diagnosis, and self-medication is dangerous.

He stressed that in some cases, salmonellosis can be fatal, so medical care is mandatory.
