Hungary and Slovakia did not support the proposal of the European Union (EU) to create a special tribunal to investigate Russia's actions. This was announced on October 20 by a European diplomatic source.
"Budapest and Bratislava have informed the EU Foreign Policy service of their intention not to participate in the creation of a tribunal against Russia," TASS quoted the diplomat as saying.
