- The RuKod Championship gathered almost 2 thousand participants and set a new Russian record.
On October 19, the final of the RuKod International Algorithmic Programming Championship took place at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
1,885 programmers took part in it, which became a record both for the championship itself and for the country. The event was officially included in the "Russian Book of Records" as the most massive programming competition.
The final was held simultaneously at 44 venues in Russia and in five neighboring countries — Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. In five hours, participants solved problems using algorithms, earning points in one of three divisions: senior, middle and junior.
The championship has been held since 2020 and has become part of the All-Russian RuKod Festival. This year, 9.8 thousand participants from 50 countries submitted applications, and 38 universities joined the consortium of organizing universities.
The BasketBobr team became the absolute champion of the senior division (A-B), the absolute champion in the division (C-D) was the team twitch.tv/chu65536 , and in the junior division (E-F) is the team404 team.
In June, the RuKod Programming Championship received international status. The solution is aimed at developing and popularizing programming, increasing the interest of young talents in programming as a professional activity.
