Five people were detained on suspicion of illegally legalizing 3,000 migrants.

In Moscow, the illegal migration channel was stopped, through which more than 3,000 foreign builders were legalized, and five people were detained. This was announced on October 20 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.

"According to the operatives, the criminal scheme was implemented by officials of a recruitment agency and a construction organization who illegally legalized more than 3,000 foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation <...> Five defendants were detained by law enforcement officers," Wolf wrote on her Telegram channel.

According to her, among the detainees are three suspects who are the organizers of the scheme, and two accomplices who were involved in the preparation of forged documents, as well as a foreigner who was listed as a nominee director in several companies. At the moment, two defendants are under arrest, and three are under house arrest.

It is clarified that the foreigners, according to the investigation, were fictitiously employed by one-day companies registered as front persons, but actually worked for a construction organization. In fact, a criminal case has been opened under the article on illegal migration. During the searches, forged employment contracts, seals of fictitious companies, as well as equipment and communications equipment were seized.
