On the anniversary of film director Nikita Mikhalkov, Russian President Vladimir Putin was doused with wine. This was announced on October 20 by the Russian leader in the film Nikita Mikhalkov on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

"One of his [Mikhalkov's] friends poured red wine over me there. He apologized a lot, said he would stop using it altogether. But, as far as I know, he still didn't keep his word and continues to do so. However, within reasonable limits, as far as I know," Putin said.
