In Moscow, the police suspended the activities of a night entertainment venue on Shirokaya Street after conducting an inspection as part of the operational and preventive operation Illegal. This was reported on October 20 on the website of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the capital.

"The security forces checked 47 guests of the establishment, according to the results of the inspection, nine foreigners were identified who violated the rules of staying on the territory of the Russian Federation," the report says.

Administrative protocols were drawn up against them under Article 18.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation by a foreign citizen or a stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation"), which provides for fines.

The cafe's operations are currently suspended. The police are continuing to check on the violations.
