On October 22, 2025, the Grand Opening and the Plenary Session of the 4th National Congress with international participation "National Healthcare" will take place at the National Center "Russia".

The moderator of the Plenary session "A new model of health protection – 2040: Transition from reactive to predictive medicine" will be Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.

The event will be attended by: Sergey Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, Igor Artamonov, Governor of the Lipetsk Region, German Gref, President and Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank, Denis Logunov, Deputy Director for Scientific Work, National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Honorary Academician N.F. Gamalei of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

Historically, healthcare has developed primarily as a system aimed at combating existing diseases, but today in the 21st century, the emergence of new technologies opens up broad horizons for a fundamentally new approach to human health management based on personalized and predictive medicine. Doctors are able to predict potential health problems, including at a very early age, even long before birth, and to intervene promptly, reducing the likelihood of serious complications.

The catalyst for this is not only new medical devices, but also innovative digital technologies for the healthcare sector, such as the active development of artificial intelligence, the introduction of big data analysis methods, and wearable devices. In addition, the achievements of medical science already allow us to think in completely different categories regarding human health – genetic screening, personalized gene therapy and other technologies can prevent the rarest and most severe diseases.

The coordination of efforts between different sectors of the economy and government agencies takes healthcare far beyond traditional borders, turning it into a system focused on the needs of each individual. We can say that there has been a paradigm shift: the emphasis is increasingly shifting from providing care towards predictive personalized medicine. Nevertheless, an important issue remains the proper implementation of this process and the optimal use of available tools.
