More than 7 thousand garages were "amnestied" in the Tula region

In the Tula region, more than 7 thousand garage facilities have been "amnestied." TSN24 writes about this with reference to the regional office of the Federal Register.

Since the beginning of the "garage amnesty", 2,058 garages and 5,475 plots of land have been registered in the region. The total area exceeded 168 thousand square meters. m.

In order to register objects under the "garage amnesty", residents of the region should contact the municipal administration. Required conditions: the garage must be built before December 30, 2024 and located on a state or municipal plot of land.

In Russia, the "garage amnesty" began to operate on September 1, 2021. For five years, residents of the Tula region have been given the opportunity to take ownership of garages and land plots on which they are located. Self-construction, underground garages in multi-storey buildings and office complexes, as well as "shells" are not subject to the "garage amnesty".
