In the Chelyabinsk region, the cost of red caviar decreased for the first time in two years. In October, you will have to pay an average of 9.6 thousand rubles for 1 kg of delicacy. This is almost 8% cheaper than a year earlier. Then the average cost of 1 kg of caviar exceeded 10 thousand rubles.
According to the <url> news agency, in October, 100 grams of caviar cost an average of 961 rubles. However, the price variation is significant depending on the type and manufacturer. Thus, pink salmon caviar will cost 9.5 thousand rubles per 1 kg, and chum salmon — 8.6 thousand rubles per 1 kg. For 1 kg of caviar, on the jar of which "salmon" is indicated, you will have to pay about 10.8 thousand rubles.
Earlier, on October 12, it was reported that in September of this year, the national average price for red caviar was 9.4 thousand rubles per 1 kg, compared to 9.5 thousand rubles in August.
It is noted that the last time a similar price level was observed in December 2024, when the delicacy cost 9.2 thousand rubles. According to forecasts of the All-Russian Association of Fisheries Enterprises, Entrepreneurs and Exporters, the situation will change in 2025: the volume of production of raw caviar is expected to reach 21 thousand tons, which is 31% higher than last year.
