VTB has introduced an account login notification feature from a new device

VTB customers will receive SMS notifications about the first login to their VTB Online account from any new device, the bank's press service said. This will allow you to respond promptly if fraudsters have gained access to an online bank.

As explained in the bank, the SMS message will indicate the name of the device, and when logging in from the computer, the name of the browser. If the client has not logged into his online banking, he will be able to stop access to the account by resetting the sessions. This can be done in the "Security" section of VTB Online or by calling the contact center. After resetting sessions, login will only be possible using two-factor authentication using a password and a time code from SMS). The client will also be able to independently block the account via online banking or by phone.
