Gyumri residents are trying to get through to the detained Mayor Ghukasyan

Residents of Gyumri, Armenia, gathered outside the city administration building, where investigations are currently underway and Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan has been detained. Some are trying to enter the building. A video from the scene of the October 20 events is published by Izvestia.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that employees of the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia raided the Gyumri City Hall. The entrances to the building were cordoned off by law enforcement agencies.
