Macron promised to return the jewels missing from the Louvre
On October 19, French President Emmanuel Macron promised that the jewelry that disappeared as a result of the Louvre robbery would be found.
"We will return the works of art, and the perpetrators will be brought to justice. Everything possible is being done for this everywhere under the leadership of the Paris prosecutor's office," he wrote on the social network X.
Macron called the Louvre robbery an encroachment on the historical heritage of France.
The French president also recalled the work of the Louvre New Renaissance program, which involves strengthening security measures to protect the museum's exhibits.
