Honored coach of Russia Oleg Chekhov died at the age of 86. His body was found in an apartment near Moscow in Reutov. This was announced on October 20 by a source of Izvestia.

It is noted that a pistol was found next to his body.

Oleg Chekhov was a coach of the highest category. Under his leadership, several world and European champions were trained, and his students won more than 20 medals at USSR championships and sports contests.

Among Chekhov's most famous students are European and world boxing champion Alexander Krupin, as well as USSR and European champion Sergey Kobozev.
