The Investigative Committee of Russia has launched an investigation into the criminal actions of the armed formations of Ukraine in the Belgorod region. This was reported on October 19 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

According to the executive authorities, a man was injured in the city of Shebekino as a result of a drone attack on a production facility. In the area of the village of Kazinka, Valuysky district, a drone damaged a tractor working in a field, and a civilian was also injured.

"The Investigative Committee will establish the circumstances of the incident and the persons involved in the commission of crimes," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.

Earlier, on October 17, the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case into the death of RIA Novosti military commander Ivan Zuev and the injury of his colleague Yuri Voitkevich. The case was initiated under Articles 105 and 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — "murder and attempted murder, obstruction of the legitimate professional activities of journalists." The investigation continues to identify all those involved among the armed formations of Ukraine in order to bring them to justice.
