FT reported on Trump's irritation in a conversation with Zelensky
US President Donald Trump expressed his dissatisfaction during a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at the White House, and subsequently dropped the cards of hostilities from the table. This was reported on October 19 by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper, citing sources.
"The meeting between the US president and [Zelensky] <...> kept escalating into a "skirmish". <...> At some point during the meeting, the US president threw off the maps of the front line in Ukraine," the publication says.
It is noted that Trump has repeatedly cited theses voiced during his telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
