In the West, they recognized the Su-34 as the main nightmare for the Ukrainian military

On October 19, the Western edition of Military Watch Magazine (MWM) called the Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber the main nightmare of the Ukrainian troops in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

According to the magazine, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) complain about the destructive power of the aircraft.

"One serviceman compared the strike of a fighter jet to the gates of hell, emphasizing that the Su-34 roars as if it were rapidly descending directly on people," the newspaper quoted eyewitnesses as saying.

MWM notes that the Su-34 is an improved version of the Su-27 and has the largest range and carrying capacity of weapons among the fighters of its class. It is noted that one shell fired from the Su-34 is capable of destroying a fortified bunker.

According to analysts, the depletion of the Ukrainian air defense system has allowed Russian aviation to actively use the Su-34 for air support along the entire front line.

Earlier, on October 6, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) announced the transfer of a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). The aircraft have passed all the necessary tests and are already being used in combat missions. The corporation stressed that the production of aircraft is continuously being improved to meet the tasks of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
