The visibility zone of comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon), which will get as close to Earth as possible on October 21, covers the entire territory of Russia, and residents of regions located above the 50th parallel of northern latitude have the best conditions. This was announced on October 19 by Sergey Yazev, a senior researcher at the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor at Irkutsk State University (IGU).

"Now at latitudes north of about 50 degrees <...> the comet does not set below the horizon and, in principle, is visible from sunset to sunrise. If you move south, the comet will be visible lower and lower, and there will be an increasing period of time in the middle of the night when the comet will be below the horizon. So the further north you are, the better you can see," TASS quoted Yazev as saying.
