The foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fled the battlefield and abandoned the wounded

Three foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) abandoned their wounded comrades and fled from their position after mortar fire from the fighters of the Dnepr group of forces. This was announced on October 19 by the deputy commander of the Dnepr mortar platoon with the call sign Ballon.

According to him, intelligence revealed a group of opponents who were digging trenches on the opposite bank. Upon approach, it was found that there were foreign mercenaries among them — some of them had American chevrons and NATO badges.

"And we started working on them. Successfully worked out. Two people were injured 100%, three people just ran away, left them (two wounded. — Ed.) there," the military told RIA Novosti.

Ballon clarified that the wounded tried to hide in a trench, after which an additional fire attack was launched on the position.

Earlier in the day, it was reported about the partial destruction of an elite unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Russian Army near the village of Kolomiytsy, Dnipropetrovsk region. It is specified that several FAB-500 strikes were carried out there against the Skala military unit.
