Plekhanov Russian University of Economics denied the involvement of its students in a defiant dance in honor of the initiation into freshmen. This was announced on October 19 by the university's press service.

Earlier, materials appeared on the Web where allegedly first-year students of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics openly dance and undress during a speech at an event in honor of initiation into students.

"There are no Plekhanov University students on the videos distributed on social media," the Telegram channel said.

The press service added that the principles of the university's youth policy are the formation of students' sense of pride in their homeland, as well as respect for the history, culture of Russia and respect for the university's reputation.

On August 18, three female students of the Russian State University of Art and Industry named after S.G. Stroganov were expelled after dancing in front of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. They were first-year students of the Department of Interior Art Design.
