43 people were hospitalized with acute intestinal infection in Buryatia.

In the city of Ulan-Ude in the Republic of Buryatia, 43 people, including 18 children, were hospitalized in the Central District Hospital of the city with acute intestinal infection. This was announced on October 19 by Rospotrebnadzor on its official website.

"In connection with the registration of a group incidence of acute intestinal infection, the Rospotrebnadzor Office for the Republic of Buryatia immediately launched an epidemiological investigation to establish a causal relationship between the occurrence of the epidochage," the publication says.

It is noted that all the patients consumed ready-made products manufactured by Vostok LLC in Ulan-Ude before they were hospitalized.

Currently, the epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
