In the United States, a Boeing 737 MAX operated by United Airlines flying from Denver to Los Angeles was forced to land in Salt Lake City. The cause was a crack formed in the windshield of an air transport at an altitude of 11,000 m. This was reported on October 17 by The Aviation Herald.

"The plane deviated from the route to fix a crack in one layer of the multilayer windshield," the publication says.

The passengers of the flight reached Los Angeles with a six-hour delay on a spare plane provided by the airline.

Earlier, on October 18, it was reported that a teenager, who is 12 years old, opened the emergency exit on the St. Petersburg - Mineralnye Vody flight and delayed the flight. According to him, there were 120 passengers on the plane. The incident was promptly fixed, there are no damages or complaints about the incident.
