The European Union and NATO demonstrate their readiness to continue supporting Kiev "to the last Ukrainian." This was stated on October 19 by Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's Permanent Representative to the International organizations in Vienna, in his Telegram channel.

"It seems that over the past three years, NATO and EU countries have demonstrated their support for the continuation of military operations in Ukraine until the last Ukrainian remains. Is this true or an exaggeration?" the diplomat wrote.

Earlier, on October 16, the Russian Embassy in Belgium said that the meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels confirmed the alliance's course towards confrontation and escalation. The diplomatic mission noted that, despite the "enormous costs to the population and the economy," the bloc's countries continue to increase military spending and arms supplies to Kiev, which only exacerbates the conflict.
