Hamas says Israel violated the cease-fire agreement in Gaza
The decision of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to open the Rafah checkpoint is a violation of the points of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. This was announced on October 18 by the radical Palestinian movement Hamas.
"Netanyahu's decision not to open the Rafah border crossing until further notice is a gross violation of the points of the ceasefire agreement and a failure to fulfill the obligations he assumed to the mediators and guarantors," RIA Novosti quoted the movement as saying.
Earlier, on October 17, Netanyahu announced his intentions to continue the fight against Hamas. Netanyahu promised that Israel would return the remaining hostages and achieve "all the goals of the war," which include the destruction of Hamas.
