On October 18, Moscow football club (FC) Lokomotiv defeated CSKA in the match of the 12th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL), after which it rose to the first place in the standings.

The game took place at the capital's Russian Railways Arena stadium and ended with a score of 3:0.
