The bodies of two more hostages killed in the Gaza Strip will be handed over to Israel at 22:00 local time in Gaza (coincides with Moscow time). This was announced on October 18 by the military wing of the radical Palestinian Hamas movement, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam brigades.
"As part of the prisoner exchange deal, the Al-Qassam brigades will hand over the bodies of two prisoners of the occupation forces, who were recovered today in the Gaza Strip at 22:00 Gaza time," the organization's Telegram channel said.
Earlier in the day, Red Cross staff handed over to Israel the remains of another hostage who died in the sector.
On October 13, the first group of seven Israeli hostages released by the Hamas movement was handed over to the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip. It was noted that upon their return, all of them will undergo a medical examination. Hamas then released a second group of 13 hostages, who were handed over to the Red Cross.
Later, Izvestia correspondent Nikita Kulyukhin reported that those released had arrived at a hospital in Tel Aviv.
