President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was dissatisfied with the results of the meeting with American leader Donald Trump. This was announced on October 18 by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

As Merz pointed out, he had a telephone conversation with Zelensky after the Ukrainian leader's visit to the White House.

"The visit did not go the way Zelensky wanted," he said, answering questions from citizens in the German city of Meschede.
