Former head of the Crimean Parliament Leonid Grach died in Crimea
Former head of the Crimean Parliament Leonid Ivanovich Grach died in Crimea at the age of 78. This was announced on October 18 on the website of the State Council of the Republic.
The Presidium of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea expressed its deep condolences to the family and friends over the death of the politician.
"The Crimean Republican Committee of our party highly appreciated Leonid Ivanovich's life path, his role in the history of Crimea, in the history of the country; we share this assessment and the grief of our Crimean comrades," Sergei Malinkovich, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Russia, said in his Telegram channel.
Grach was Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Crimea from 1998 to 2002.
