After the meeting of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky with US President Donald Trump in Washington, the head of the Kiev regime will have to negotiate with Russia to resolve the conflict. This was announced on October 18 by the head of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot.

"He [Zelensky] stood as if he had been knocked out, because he understands that his European masters have been telling him lies: now he will either have to go to peace talks or disappear completely!" he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to the politician, during a meeting with journalists at a press conference, the leader of the Kiev regime stammered in every possible way and looked "stunned" after talks with Trump. Philippot added that Zelensky also failed to receive a supply of long-range Tomahawk missiles from the United States.

Earlier that day, Alexei Chepa, first deputy chairman of the State Duma's International Affairs committee, said that the meeting with Zelensky in Washington was formal for the United States. He noted that Kiev's main goal was to receive Tomahawk supplies, but Trump had his own prepared plan for the development of the negotiation process in order to direct it in his direction.

Trump's meeting with Zelensky took place at the White House the day before. The American leader expressed hope for the end of the conflict in Ukraine without the transfer of Tomahawk. At the same time, Zelensky noted that he was ready for bilateral and trilateral negotiations to end the conflict.
