In the Khabarovsk Territory, rescuers are searching for an elderly fisherman who disappeared three days ago. This was announced on October 18 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region in the Telegram channel.
"A group of the search and rescue squad <...> together with police officers is looking for a 73-year-old man who disappeared on the Talga Bayou in the Khabarovsk region <...> On October 15, a pensioner went fishing on a boat, his whereabouts are still unknown," the publication says.
The search team surveyed about 16 km of the area from a boat and on foot along the shore. On the morning of October 18, divers from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations went to the work site with equipment to inspect the bottom of the channel.
Earlier, on October 13, it was reported that a resident of Vladivostok, 42-year-old Andrei Varchenko, went to sea on a boat in Primorye and disappeared. Varchenko set sail on a boat with no inscriptions on board.
