Almost half a million weapons have been lost in Ukraine since February 2022.

In Ukraine, the number of stolen or lost weapons since February 2022 has reached 491,426 units. It is noted that this figure has almost doubled in 2025. This became known on October 18.

At the end of 2023, 178,818 units were reported lost, at the end of 2023, at the end of 2024 — 270,945 units, by now this figure has increased to 491,426 units.

"Most of the various machines were lost — 149,637 units (30.45%). This number also includes machine guns (29,165 units), grenade launchers (18,959 units). The rest are hunting rifles, pistols, carbines," according to the data of the National Police of Ukraine, which was reviewed by TASS.

It is noted that 58% of the missing weapons are of foreign manufacture.

It will help to break into enemy fortified areas more successfully.

Earlier, on October 17, it was reported that the Plastun-TT wheeled all-terrain vehicles began to arrive en masse in the special military operation zone. It is noted that in November, several dozen vehicles will be transferred to the troops. "Plasters" are used to transport fighters and cargo and to evacuate the wounded.
