The death toll from a house fire in Novosibirsk has increased to four. The mayor's office announced this on October 18 in its Telegram channel.

"As a result of the fire, according to the district department of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, four people were killed and three people were injured. 26 residents were evacuated," the publication says.

It is noted that 14 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

A day earlier, a fire broke out in a wooden apartment building on an area of 600 square meters. At that time, it was known about three dead and three injured as a result of the fire, which was first localized and then extinguished. As a result of the fire, the roof of the house partially collapsed.

According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, 46 people and 13 units of special equipment took part in extinguishing the fire.
