Protesters with bows and arrows attacked the US Embassy in Colombia
In the Colombian capital Bogota, protesters armed with bows and molotov cocktails attacked the US embassy, as a result of which four policemen were wounded by arrows. This was announced on October 17 by Colombian President Gustavo Petro on the social network X.
"It's bad that after reaching an agreement with the Congress of Peoples to lift the blockades, a more radical group attacked the police guarding the embassy — several young people were wounded by arrows. The embassy was protected, as I promised. Colombia complies with international treaties," he said.
It is reported that the head of state ordered to "exercise maximum caution" with the American embassy.
On September 26, Gustavo Petro's US visa was revoked due to his alleged incitement to violence during a street performance in New York. The President appealed to the American military with an alleged call to ignore the orders of the command and incitement to commit violent acts.
