Ernst promised to help Saudi Arabia with the organization of Intervision

On October 18, Konstantin Ernst, General Director of Channel One, announced his readiness to help Saudi Arabia with the organization of the international song contest "Intervision" next year.

"Yes, of course. If necessary, we will certainly help," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to the organizers of the contest, in 2026, Intervision will be held in Saudi Arabia.

The final of Intervision was held in Moscow at the Live Arena. SHAMAN participated from Russia with the musical composition "Straight to the Heart" by Maxim Fadeev. Alexander Ovechkin, a Russian hockey player and captain of the Washington Capitals NHL club, was announced as the cultural ambassador of Intervision 2025. The hosts of the final of the competition were performer Alexey Vorobyov and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Aida Garifullina.

The winner of the contest was Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc. The NOMAD trio from Kyrgyzstan took the second place. The top three is completed by the representative of Qatar, Dana Al-Mir.
