Seven people were injured in an accident with teenage drivers in Pskov in October.

Since the beginning of October, two accidents involving underage drivers have occurred on Pskov roads, as a result of which seven people were injured. This was reported to the Pskov news feed by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Pskov region.

The first accident occurred on the night of October 12 on Rizhsky Prospekt. The VAZ-2115 car, driven by a 15-year-old schoolboy, crashed into a Daewoo subcompact driven by a 39-year-old woman who stopped in front at a traffic light.

As a result, three people were injured: the driver of the Daewoo and her 29-year-old and 19-year-old passengers. The teenager who caused the accident escaped with one of his passengers.

The second accident happened on October 14th, also at night. On Krestovsky highway, an Audi car crashed into a Chery Tiggo, which was moving in the second lane in the same direction. The impact sent the Audi flying into the railway crossing barrier and the lighting poles.

Four people were injured in this accident. Among them is the Audi driver himself, a boy born in 2009, as well as his passenger born in 2006. In Chery, a 25-year-old young man and a 57-year-old woman were injured, while the 44-year-old driver was not injured.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from January to September in Pskov, more than 30 teenagers aged 16 to 18 were brought to administrative responsibility for driving vehicles, four more "motorists" under the age of 16.
