The ex-director of the Murmansk capital construction department was charged
In Murmansk, Ksenia Savitskaya, the former director of the capital construction department, was charged with abuse of office, whose actions, according to the investigation, caused damage to the budget in the amount of 13.8 million rubles. This was announced by the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia on Friday, October 17.
The official is accused of abuse of office, committed out of self-interest by a group of persons by prior agreement (paragraphs "d, e" of part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to investigators, in 2024, the director of the department concluded a number of contracts with her affiliated company for the demolition of seven dilapidated apartment buildings. At the same time, the cost of a number of works prescribed in the documents turned out to be significantly overestimated. 13.8 million rubles were recognized as unreasonably spent.
The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing. Investigators conduct searches and other activities aimed at collecting and consolidating evidence.
According to the Bi-port news agency, information about the official's detention appeared earlier in the day. The minimum sanction of the sane Savitsky article provides for three years in prison, the maximum is ten years.
