Fraudsters deceive Russians under the guise of car transporters. Alla Khrapunova, deputy head of the project of the Popular Front for Borrowers' Rights and curator of the Moshelovka platform, told Izvestia about the new schemes of criminals.

According to her, the essence of most deceptions remains unchanged: the attackers demand an advance payment and disappear, changing only the legends, which always adapt to current news and circumstances.

"Now scammers are actively using the topic of increasing recycling. They promise very fast registration of a car for parallel import and supposedly reduced payments. At the same time, they create the effect of haste, require a large advance payment and disappear after receiving the money," Khrapunova said.

At the same time, she added, there have been stories of attackers asking for the use of cryptocurrency transfers when buying machines allegedly imported in parallel. In fact, they withdraw money from someone else's crypto wallet and disappear.
