Victoria's Secret Company has registered a trademark in Russia

The American company selling lingerie, accessories and perfumes Victoria's Secret has registered a trademark in Russia. This follows from an extract from the open register of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS), which was reviewed by Izvestia on October 17.

It is noted that the decision on registration was made on September 24.

According to the data from the FIPS statement, trademarks are registered in two classes (No. 3 and No. 25) of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICTS). They include categories such as hygiene and cosmetics, clothing, shoes, and hats.

In 2022, Victoria's Secret announced its final withdrawal from Russia, arguing that it would be inappropriate to resume its work, given the "ongoing economic, logistical and business disruptions in the country."

On October 12, Sony, an electronics manufacturer, filed three applications with Rospatent for trademark registration. It was noted that the company wants to register its Walkman (player model), Bravia (TV brand) and Xperia (smartphones) brands.
