- ROSSETI increased the planned financing of the repair program in 2025 to 119 billion rubles
Andrey Ryumin, the head of the ROSSETI Group, announced an increase in planned financing for repairs in 2025 at the All-Russian meeting on preparations for the 2025-2026 heating season. The meeting was held within the framework of the Russian Energy Week Forum, chaired by Sergey Tsivilev, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
"This year, we have increased the financing of the repair program to 119 billion rubles, which exceeds the level of 2024 by more than 14%. We are working on the facilities according to the schedule. The ROSSETI Group companies are currently completing work on tasks that are directly related to winter," said Andrey Ryumin.
He noted that in case of emergency recovery work, about 11 thousand teams have been prepared - more than 52 thousand specialists, who have 27 thousand units of special equipment at their disposal. Almost 8,000 backup sources (totaling about 660 MW) can be used to supply electricity to consumers. Emergency stocks of equipment and materials have been formed in all grid companies of the ROSSETI Group in accordance with the standards approved by the Russian Ministry of Energy.
According to Andrey Ryumin, the situation in territories with high risks of power supply disruptions, as well as in regions with a shortage of generation, is under special control. At the same time, as part of the ROSSETI investment program, they are implementing projects aimed at improving system reliability. Major projects include the construction of backbone infrastructure in the Far East, Eastern Siberia, and Southern Russia.
The meeting also considered the implementation of the functions of backbone territorial network organizations (STSO). According to the decisions of the regional headquarters, they can be involved in the elimination of the consequences of accidents in the networks of related organizations and on ownerless power facilities. Andrey Ryumin noted that the companies of the ROSSETI Group are ready to fulfill this task in all 69 regions where they have received the STSO status.
