Russian Foreign Ministry: Lavrov and Szijjarto agreed to cooperate in the preparation of the summit

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during a telephone conversation with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto, agreed on close cooperation between Russia and Hungary in preparation for the summit of the Russian Federation and the United States. This was announced on October 17 by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"On October 16, at the initiative of the Hungarian side, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation had a telephone conversation <...> Lavrov with Hungarian Foreign Minister <...> Szijjarto. <...> The ministers agreed to continue close cooperation," the message on the agency's website says.
