The president of the former Kerzhakov football club was shot dead in Cyprus.

Stavros Dimostenus, president of the Karmiotissa football club, whose coach in 2023 was Russian football player Alexander Kerzhakov, was shot dead in Limassol. This was reported by the Cyprus Mail newspaper on October 17.

"A well-known businessman from Limassol was shot dead on Friday morning and died on the motorway on his way to the hospital. In this regard, the police blocked part of the road from the Ayia Filaki roundabout to the Troodos roundabout," the publication says.
