The Russian-built Tenet T4 crossover was included in the state support program

The Tenet T4 crossover, which is produced at the facilities of the former Volkswagen plant in the Kaluga region, has entered the state program of preferential loans. It provides benefits for the purchase of a car in the amount of up to 25%, the Tenet Rus press service reported.

A preferential car loan with a 20% discount is provided to employees of the state health and education system, military personnel and their families, as well as people with disabilities (up to 25% residing and registered in the Far Eastern Federal District). Up to 10% is allowed for clients with two or more minor children (or with one or more in the Far Eastern Federal District).

The state program includes only new Russian-built cars, the cost of which does not exceed 2 million rubles. Thus, only the basic version of the Tenet T4 falls under the conditions, since in the other three trim levels the recommended retail price exceeds this mark.

In the launch package, the Tenet T4, which is based on the Chinese Chery Tiggo 4, has a 1.5-liter 113 hp engine combined with a five-speed manual transmission. There is no climate control, electric adjustments for the driver's seat, electric folding mirrors, front parking sensors and an all-round viewing system, and a separate multimedia screen is installed in the cabin instead of a dual digital cockpit. In other trim levels, the Tenet T4 has a 147-horsepower engine that works with a variator or "robot".

Earlier, on October 13, it became known that the Russian automobile brand Tenet entered the top 5 brands in terms of sales for the first time. Thus, according to the results of the 41st week of this year, 1,689 new Tenet cars were sold in the Russian Federation. The brand moved the Chery brand to sixth place (1,461 units), and the Tenet T4 crossover entered the top ten most popular models of the Russian car market for the first time, taking eighth place.
