Peskov called it necessary to punish those responsible for the death of military commander Ivan Zuev.

Those responsible for the murder of war correspondent Ivan Zuev and the wounding of his colleague Yuri Voitkevich must be punished. This was announced on October 17 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"The Kiev regime often deliberately preys on journalists. <...> This is a crime, and, of course, the perpetrators must be held accountable," Peskov said at a briefing.
