The prosecutor's office will begin checking after a schoolboy falls into a trench in Primorye.

In the village of Mikhaylovka in Primorsky Krai, an 11-year-old schoolboy suffered a broken leg after falling into a heating main trench. There was no fencing or warning signs at the scene.

The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the incident, writes news agency UssurMedia with reference to the regional supervisory authority.

During the inspection, the prosecutor's office will give a legal assessment of the actions of the utilities and the contractor who carried out the work. They will also check the work of officials responsible for monitoring the repair process.

Earlier it was reported that part of the building collapsed at school No. 5 in the city of Tatarsk, Novosibirsk region. There were no injuries, as no one was in the facility at the time of the incident. Special services and the emergency commission were working on the site. The school building, built in 1937, was put into operation before the school year.
