From July to September, the Armed Forces of Ukraine released 38 thousand rounds of ammunition in the regions of Russia.

In the period from July to September 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired over 38,000 different types of ammunition at civilian targets in Russia. This was announced on October 17 at a briefing by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

"In just 92 days, from the beginning of July to the end of September, the armed formations of Ukraine fired at least 38,278 different types of ammunition at civilian targets," Miroshnik said.

According to the ambassador, since February 2022, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have fired more than 316,000 warheads at civilians and civilian targets. Miroshnik stressed that from July to September, at least 1,749 civilians in Russia suffered from attacks by the Ukrainian army, which is the highest figure since the beginning of this year. He also added that since the beginning of the special military operation, more than 24,000 people have been attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"From July to September 2025, 88 underage children became victims of the acts of Ukrainian militants. Of these, 82 children were injured and six died. The youngest injured child was only three months old," the ambassador said.

Earlier, on October 14, Miroshnik reported that 21 civilians, including six children, were killed in the shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the period from October 6 to October 12 in the regions of Russia. He noted that the Ukrainian army used at least 3,422 shells in total.
