The Pyaterochka chain of stores has introduced remote telemetry monitoring of the operation of coffee machines installed in sales halls. This was reported by the Pyaterochka press service.

According to the company, telemetry allows you to predict maintenance, prevent problems and solve routine situations without specialists leaving. Based on the analytical data obtained using the system, Pyaterochka specialists can create the most effective coffee assortment and profitable offers, clearly tailored to customer demand. In addition, telemetry allows you to monitor the quality of service and preparation of drinks, promptly notify employees of the need to replenish ingredients or carry out cleaning.

"In the first half of the year alone, more than 100 million cups of coffee were purchased in our network. Therefore, the implementation of various solutions that help make the preparation of this drink fast and reliable is an important task that allows us to strengthen our position in this market," said Georgy Kononov, Director of Business Support and Efficiency at the Pyaterochka retail chain.

In September 2025, the implementation of telemetry at the first thousand Pyaterochka stores was completed. After the trial operation stage is successfully completed, the system will be launched across the entire network. Today, coffee machines are installed in almost 20 thousand stores of the chain.
