Khabarovsk will host the international animated film Festival "Animur"

The IV International Animated Film Festival "Animur" will be held in Khabarovsk. Registration for the audience and guests has already started. The main program will begin on October 30, and the contestants' works will be shown at the Giant and Druzhba cinemas.

According to Alexandra Dubovskaya, director of the festival and head of the council of the regional organization for the development of animation art, this year the organizers will place special emphasis on a new generation of authors in order to support young talents and open adult animation to teenagers and students who are beginning their development in this direction, AmurMedia news agency writes.

The guests will be presented with stellar premieres and works that have proven themselves at major Russian and international venues. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with masters in the field of animation. Among the guests are representatives of Soyuzmultfilm Anna Moryakova, Prokopy Ulyashov and Boris Mashkovtsev. The film studio is the general partner of the festival. For creative meetings, she has prepared a "Warm Animation" format and a gold collection dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.

As part of the third Animura, 195 works were presented to the audience, 63 of them were world premieres. More than 2,000 applications from 102 countries have been submitted to the festival. 105 works from 27 countries were selected by an international jury.

Earlier it was reported that a regional table tennis center will be built in Khabarovsk. It will appear as part of a cooperation agreement that Governor Dmitry Demeshin signed with President of the Russian Table Tennis Federation Alexander Babakov at the Eastern Economic Forum. The parties plan to cooperate in the field of physical education and sports. The goal is to develop table tennis in the territory of the region.
